Openings on Clallam boards, committees

PORT ANGELES — The Board of Clallam County Commissioners has announced an immediate opening on the Civil Service Commission due to a resignation, amid other openings on 22 advisory boards and committees.

Descriptions of the voluntary boards can be found at www.clallam.net.

To apply, phone the commissioners’ office at 360-417-2233; visit their office (Room 150) at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St.; or download an application from the county’s website.

The application deadline is Dec. 31.

Vacancies exist on the following panels:

■ Agricultural Commission.

■ Animal Issues Advisory Committee.

■ Boundary Review Board.

■ Building Code Board of Appeals.

■ Chemical Dependency/Mental Health Program Fund Advisory Board.

■ Civil Service Commission.

■ Developmental Disabilities Advisory Committee.

■ Fair Advisory Board.

■ Heritage Advisory Board.

■ Homelessness Task Force.

■ Lodging Tax Advisory Committee.

■ Marine Resources Committee.

■ North Olympic Library System.

■ Noxious Weed Control Board.

■ Opportunity Fund Board.

■ Park and Recreation Advisory Board.
