Harp music will be performed by Paula Lalish and craft activities for all ages will be offered, including literary wreaths made from recycled book pages, New Year’s poppers stuffed with friendship wishes to give as gifts, gift tags and cards.
Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of Jefferson County Library.
At this year’s open house, there is much to celebrate the newly remodeled space, a new director and another year of great programming.
Attendees will have the opportunity to ask the new library director, Meredith Wagner, about her plans for 2014, which will include more cultural and educational programs for all ages, enhanced adult services and digital learning classes.
