In this last event of the year, guests are invited to enjoy an art show by Port Townsend painter Sandra Smith-Poling — a former Air Force flight surgeon inspired by her global travels — along with pianist Louis Aissen joining Ciel Pope, Diane Bond and Rio Storey in offering Gershwin songs.
The art show will start at 1 p.m. Sunday and be followed by Aissen and company at 1:30 p.m.
At 2 p.m., duo-pianists Gwendolyn Moore and Barbara Hinchliff will play Gershwin's “An American in Paris,” plus a few jazz songs and finally “Rhapsody in Blue.”
Tickets are $50, with proceeds to benefit the Turtle Bluff Scholarship Fund for young musicians.
Fundraiser-in-chief Rosalee Hablutzel is donating hors d'oeuvres, a couple of raffle drawings will be held, and drinks from Ancient Vines Wine Co. will be available all afternoon on the music room porch.
