The Jefferson County Fair Association is hosting the gathering of garage sales at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, 4907 Landes St., from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
Those who would like a sneak peek can purchase an Early Bird VIP Shoppers Pass for $10. Pass-holders can begin shopping at 8:15 a.m.
Passes
Passes are available at the information booth the day of the garage sale starting at 8 a.m.
Attendees can shop for a wide variety of goods, including antiques, tools, household items, fishing items, collectibles, furniture, books, glassware and military supplies, said Sue McIntire, office manager.
Proceeds support the fair and fairgrounds.
“We do it all by ourselves,” McIntire said. “We're not a county park. The fair and fairgrounds are funded, maintained and operated by the fair association.”
Food bank to benefit
Donations also will be accepted for the Jefferson County Food Bank Association. Nonperishable food donations will be divided among food banks in Port Townsend, Chimacum and Quilcene, McIntire said.
The fair restaurant will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. for breakfast and lunch.
A few spaces for garage sales are still available, McIntire said.
