The public is welcome to the free program at Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 2333 San Juan Ave.
Refreshments will be served at 9:30 a.m. followed by the program and meeting from 10 a.m. to
11:30 a.m.
Current and prospective members and guests will hear a panel discussion, “Reflecting on Art.”
Panelists are local AAUW artists Kathy Constantine, Anita Edwards, Barb Sachi, Marilyn Sandeau and Barbara Starr.
They will discuss what goes through their minds during the creative process, what motivates them to create their art how they select their mediums and subject matter.
The program will feature a video and slide show representing select pieces from these artists and two others, Mary Lou Enlow and Lois James.
AAUW membership is open to women who hold an associate degree or higher from a qualified educational institution.
