County residents can apply through March 1.
Applications are available at the commissioners’ office at the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles, or online at www.tinyurl.com/avfrfho.
Current members with expiring terms who are seeking reappointment are asked to fax a written statement to 360-417-2493 or email tholden@co.clallam.wa.us.

Vacancies exist on the following boards:
■ Agricultural Commission: Five openings for farmers in commissioner Districts 1 (east county) and 2 (central county), an at-large farmer and two non-farmers at large.
■ Animal Issues Advisory Committee: Two openings for tribal government and Friends of Forks Animals.
■ Board of Equalization: One opening for District 2.
■ Board of Health: Two openings for a hospital commissioner and at-large member.
■ Boundary Review Board: Three openings for county, city and special district positions.
■ Building Code Board of Appeals: One opening for a qualified alternate.
■ Chemical Dependency/Mental Health Program Fund Advisory Board: Three openings for a designated representative of an agency delivering subsidized chemical-dependency services, a private provider of mental health services and a consumer or past consumer of chemical dependency and/or mental health services.
■ Civil Service Commission: One opening for a member affiliated with the Republican Party.
■ Clallam Bay/Sekiu Sewer Advisory Committee: Three openings.
■ Fair Advisory Board: Four openings for the grange, at-large, livestock and home arts/hobbies and crafts.
■ Homelessness Task Force: Three openings for tribal government, law and justice, and an advocate for veterans’ issues.
■ Marine Resource Committee: Four openings for Makah tribal representative, the Clallam Bay-Sekiu community, commercial fishers and sport fishers.
■ North Pacific Coast Marine Resources Committee: Two openings for economic groups and conservation/environmental groups.
■ Noxious Weed Control Board: One opening for a member from the geographic area from Morse Creek to Lake Crescent.
■ Park and Recreation Advisory Board: One opening.
■ Peninsula Housing Authority: One opening.
■ Permit Advisory Board: Five openings in building trades, engineer (structural or civil), Economic Development Council, environmental consultant and propane/wood-stove contractor.
■ Public Health Advisory Committee: Five openings.
■ Sheriff’s Citizens Advisory Committee: Five openings for members from the unincorporated areas near Sequim and Forks, and from the Quileute, Makah and Lower Elwha Klallam tribes.
■ Solid Waste Advisory Committee: Two openings for Murrey’s Olympic Disposal and tribal government.
■ Trails Advisory Committee: 10 openings for Sequim, Port Angeles, West End and Strait of Juan de Fuca trail advocacy groups, Olympic National Park, state Department of Natural Resources, a large private forest company, off-road motorized user groups and the cities of Port Angeles and Sequim.
