“This is not an ‘erotic’ show,” like last February’s exhibition, said gallery manager Sharon Shenar.
Instead, “it’s a show celebrating love and passion.”
Michael Paul Miller, a fine artist and art professor at Peninsula College, will serve as the “Bliss” juror.
Ribbons, certificates and a $200 cash prize will be awarded to the top entries, and an opening party will be held during the Second Saturday festivities in downtown Port Angeles on Feb. 9.
All artists who reside on the Olympic Peninsula are invited to enter their original art in this exhibition. Entries must be two- or three-dimensional artwork created within the past four years.
Each piece must be prepared for display and delivered to the gallery, which is inside The Landing mall, 115 E. Railroad Ave. The last day to bring in work is Wednesday, Feb. 6. Artists are encouraged to enter up to five pieces. A $20 fee applies for one to five entries.
