The 64-car ferry could be back on the water Wednesday, but it needs three more weeks of maintenance at Eagle Harbor before returning to service on the Point Defiance-Tahlequah route.
The Chetzemoka, the first ferry in the Kwa-di Tabil class, began service on the Port Townsend-Coupeville route in November 2010.
It moved to the Point Definance-Tahlequah run in January 2011.
