A hospital ambulance was dispatched to Rialto Beach to transport the person, Clallam County West End Sgt. Brian King said this morning.
“Someone was cold and unable to get out of the woods or off the trail or beach,” King said.
A call for search-and-rescue assistance to the LaPush Police Department was made at 3:07 p.m. Christmas afternoon, according to the Peninsula Communications daily call-for-service log.
“It was an individual my officer helped out,” LaPush Police Sgt. Kevin Harris said this morning.
Information on the man, described as elderly, was unavailable this morning.
