GOT THE HOLIDAY blues? I got the cure.

Get out your dancing shoes, tune up your ears, put ’em together and do the holiday two-step.

In other words, make some time for yourself and friends with live music, the soother of the soul.

Port Angeles

■ Today at Castaways Restaurant and Night Club, 1213 Marine Drive, sing and pick country-style at a jam hosted by High Country from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

On Saturday, the Jimmy Hoffman Band romps through country and classic rock from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

■ On Saturday at the Junction Roadhouse, 242701 U.S. Highway 101, get your country up with Country Gold from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Of course, All Points Charters & Tours will be there as your designated driver. Phone 360-775-9128 between 7:30 p.m. and closing for a ride out or back.

On Sunday, bring your instrument to Bob Dryver’s Sunday Music Jam from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

On Wednesdays through the NFL football season, find Jason Mogi and Paul Stehr-Green headlining Deadwood Experiment at 8 p.m.

■ On Friday at Wine on the Waterfront, 115 Railroad Ave., Charlie Ferris presents his “Cavalcade of Holiday Hits” show from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. This will be Charlie’s last show in the area until April, so you don’t want to miss it.

On Saturday, the Crow Quill Night Owls debut at WOW with a mix of early blues, jazz, etc., at 8:30 p.m.

By the way, WOW is now home to free music — no cover charges, ever. How’s that for an early Christmas present?

■ On Friday at Bar N9ne, 229 W. First St., the 2nd Friday Art Rock (2FAR) has Bob Lawrence and Marty Kaler (Twisted Roots) playing a mix of old and new tunes, with Brandon Davis as the artist in residence. $3 cover.

On Saturday, Baby Gramps brings his street-born blues at 9 p.m. $5 cover.

Justin Scott Rivet goes solo Mondays from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m.

■ On Friday, Les Wamboldt and Olde Tyme Country play with guest Island Magic at the Fairmount Restaurant, 1127 W. U.S. Highway 101, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

On Sunday, join the country jam from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

On Wednesday, Dave and Rosalie Secord and the Luck of the Draw Band play old-time music with musical guest the Old Sidekicks from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

■ Every Tuesday at the Port Angeles Senior Center, 328 E. Seventh St., the Port Angeles Senior Swingers present Wally’s Boys playing ballroom dance favorites from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. $5 cover; first-timers free.

■ At Dupuis Restaurant, 256861 U.S. Highway 101, Bob and Dave play blues Friday and Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Sequim and Blyn

■ On Friday at the Oasis Bar and Grill, 301 E. Washington St., Sequim, dance to the Dixieland of the Dukes of Dabob at 5:30 p.m.

On Saturday, the Olympic Express Big Band plays from 5:30 p.m. to 8 :30 p.m.

On Wednesday, the Denny Secord Jr. Trio will have you dancing to old and new favorites at 5:30 p.m.

■ It’s “All the Buzz” Wednesday at the Sequim Senior Activity Center, 921 E. Hammond St., with Victor hosting the open mic from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

On Friday at Stymie’s Bar & Grill at Cedars at Dungeness, 1965 Woodcock Road, Rachael and Barry mix Motown and folk from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

■ On Friday in Club Seven Lounge at 7 Cedars Casino, Blyn, the high-energy Julie Duke Band boogies from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

On Saturday, the Chris Ward Band plays Eagles hits with some country thrown in from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

On Sunday, Denny Secord Jr. and Haywire will play from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

■ Today at The Upstage, 923 Washington St., blues legend Dan “Big Hands” Colvin brings his blues, rock and country band from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. $12 in advance; $15 at the door.

On Friday at 8 p.m., catch Kevin Mason’s Vintage Christmas Show to get you in the holiday mood. $8 cover.

On Saturday, internationally renowned performer and songwriter Jim Page entertains at 8 p.m. $10 cover.

On Wednesday, Ash Devine and Friends provide you with an Appalachian evening. Sliding-scale cover of $3 to $8.

■ Steve Grandinetti plays at the Northwest Maritime Center Cafe, Port Townsend, on Thursdays and Fridays from noon till 2 p.m.
