Downtown businesses were offering longer hours, special sales and refreshments during Small Business Saturday.
Jefferson County retailers who offered special day-after-Thanksgiving sales Friday said business was good, including at Hadlock Building Supply in Port Hadlock, where specials “flew off the shelves,” said co-owner Elena Lovato-Kraut.
Many stores will continue sales throughout the holiday weekend.
