THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SEATTLE HAS EXTENDED AN

* URBAN AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
CLALLAM COUNTY...
ISLAND COUNTY...
JEFFERSON COUNTY...
SAN JUAN COUNTY...
SKAGIT COUNTY...
WHATCOM COUNTY...
KING COUNTY...
KITSAP COUNTY...
LEWIS COUNTY...
MASON COUNTY...
PIERCE COUNTY...
SNOHOMISH COUNTY...
THURSTON COUNTY...
GRAYS HARBOR COUNTY...

* UNTIL 630 PM PDT WEDNESDAY.

* NEARLY 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS MANY LOWLAND LOCATIONS
THE PAST 24 HOURS. MODERATE RAIN THE REST OF TODAY WILL RESULT IN
ANOTHER INCH TO LOCALLY 2 INCHES. THIS WILL PRODUCE MINOR FLOODING
OF URBAN AREAS AND SMALL STREAMS INTO THIS EVENING. ROADWAYS THAT
ARE ESPECIALLY PRONE TO PONDING OF WATER INCLUDE UNDERPASSES AND
INTERSECTIONS WHERE DRAINAGE IS POOR DUE TO THE BUILD UP OF LEAVES
AND OTHER DEBRIS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A FLOOD ADVISORY MEANS RIVER OR STREAM FLOWS ARE ELEVATED OR PONDING
OF WATER IN URBAN OR OTHER AREAS IS OCCURRING.

USE CAUTION THIS MORNING AND KEEP IN MIND THAT JUST A FEW INCHES OF
WATER CAN CAUSE YOU TO LOSE CONTROL OF A VEHICLE.
