Georgia Mae Harrington was born in 1912 in Humphreys, Missouri.
She passed away March 4, 2010, at St. Andrew's Place in Port Angeles at the age of 97.
Georgia married Claude Harrington in 1937. They traveled in their "Winnie" and had many adventures in their 50-plus years of marriage.
She is preceded in death by husband, Claude Harrington; daughter, Sharon Teixman; son-in-law, Gerald Minkoff; and great-granddaughter, Hailey Gray.
She enjoyed spending time at PASC visiting friends and playing cards. She wrote a book titled A Walk with Georgia and had a book signing on her 95th birthday at PASC with friends and family.
She attended Grace Baptist Church.
Georgia is survived by a son, Bruce Harrington, and daughter-in-law, Kathy, from Yuma, Arizona; daughter, Serena Minkoff, of Port Angeles; granddaughter, Chandell Gray; and daughter-in-law, Charlene Harrington,, from the greater Seattle area.
Her grandchildren include Joanna and Eric, Kristy Postma from Othello and Nicole Ramos from Port Angeles. Her great-grandchildren include Carissa and Angelo Ramos and Chanel Gray.
A celebration of life memorial will follow at a later date.
